Well Repair and Assistance

Operations

At Geoteco, we specialize in the installation, retrieval, and/or fishing of sucker rods with various configurations. Our expertise also includes providing well completion services, where we connect pumps to rods or utilize artificial lift systems. Additionally, we excel in piston replacement for pumps and rotor replacement for pipes.

We offer an extensive array of fastening components suitable for different types of rods, such as pony, centralizers, collars, pumps, and more.

Steel Line Unit ULA

The Steel Line units perform minor well intervention services, with various applications depending on the condition of the wells.

The most common ones include:

  • Determination of the depth of a well or its production string (completion).
  • Calibration of diameters or integrity of the production string (detection of restrictions).
  • Fishing Operations
  • Production casing operation.
  • Placement/Recovery of accessories in the production string according to the configuration designed by the client (check valves, gas lift, gas mandrels, blanking plugs, packers, etc.).
  • Perforate the production string to equalize pressures.
  • Bottom Sampling

The range of services includes the collection of information through memory logging:

  • Bottomhole Pressure, Temperature, and Production (PTS).
  • Hydrocarbon Saturation (MPNN).
  • Internal Diameter Calibration (MFC).
  • Cement Bond Log / Variable Density Log (CBL/VDL) cement adherence quality.

Nitrogen

Nitrogen Injection

Purging and inerting of pipelines and tanks with gaseous nitrogen.

Thanks to this system, we prevent any type of corrosion or degradation in industrial steel pipelines, in addition to being able to generate an inert atmosphere.

Fluid
Level

We have systems in place for liquid level measurement, pipe pressure, casing pressure, and dynamometer readings. We conduct valve testing, calculate well production, and measure average flow.

Dynamometric Analysis

We have innovative software and hardware that eliminates the need for additional load cells to obtain dynamometer information.

By incorporating mathematical algorithms and leveraging energy efficiency, we process the information and translate it into load data. In both cases, we obtain surface and downhole load results.

Three-Phase Flow Measurement

We have developed a technology for the separation of phases in a multiphase system, based on the cyclonic separation of the phases. This technology can be applied to the measurement of multiphase flow in producing wells, particularly in petroleum applications.

Water and Sediment Analysis
